The best way to get excellent results is by concentrating on one program that pays at least 40% commission per sale. Focus all your marketing efforts, strategies, and budget into promoting the product you chose as enthusiastically as you can. Once you are seeing the results you want, rinse and repeat with another affiliate program.
Slow and steady wins the race. There is no need to rush into things in affiliate marketing. Use your time and resources wisely and you will see better results.
Mistake #3: Not buying the product or using the service
As an affiliate, your main purpose is to effectively and convincingly promote a product or service to find customers. For you to achieve this purpose, it’s easier when you can pull from your own experiences with the product or service. Your marketing strategy should be more about convincingly recommending a product rather than just selling a product.
Customers will develop more of a rapport and trust with you if they can relate to you. It could be very beneficial if you were to try the product or service before you became an affiliate. This way you can determine if it delivers what is promised and meets your standards. When you do this and share your own testimony you become more credible. Many customers base their purchasing decisions on sincere and truthful testimonies that trigger them to try out a product or service for themselves.
